Napa water seperator filter.

Recommended Posts

I've never changed my fuel seperator filter (350 EFI, 95). It came off nice and easy. Should it be filled with fuel, like an oil filter has oil in it when you change it ?

It was full. Seemed okay, just wondering if that means there is water in the system?

It would be hard to filter the fuel if it wasn't in there, so yes it should be full. :Tease3:

Water is heavier than gasoline so it collects in the bottom of the filter, to inspect you can drain the filter into a clear container, let it settle out and see if you have multiple "layers" in there.
