Dropped In the Lake

Dropped part of the bimini frame into the lake today when putting it up.

I have a G3 tower with a bimini and boot - The part that was dropped was the bars that run from the front of the tower to the front of the bimini.

I have checked bakes and they do not carry them. Any ideas where i could get replacements or should i just contact the local Malibu dealer?

Your LOCAL Malibu dealer would be the first place I would check.

Seems like a part most any shop that makes biminis could make. I'm not sure what the fittings are like but I think I recall it just being a piece of SS tubing with something on either end. And isn't there another one just like it on the other side to show them what you need?

i hate those d@mn poles and the bimini they hold up. LOL! The stupid springy ends don't stay springy. As a result, the poles don't stay in and one dropped and nicked the vinyl on my dash on one of my first trips out last summer. The poles are cheap, talk to your dealer. I had one bend on me last year as well and they replaced it.

me and my bimini have a special kind of relationship. I hate putting it up and I hate taking it down, but I love it when it is up. 2 out of 3 ain't bad I guess.
