Battery dimensions

So, I'm deciding between using two 6 volt golf cart batteries or two srm-29's for the stereo. My boat has limited space, though, so size is a factor. Can anyone give me rough physical dimensions of their set-up using either of the above?

Actually, doing some further reading and I see that someone posted that a ProSport 12 onboard charger would not work with the 6-volt golf cart batteries. This would make my decision very easy because I don't want to replace my charger as well. Why wouldn't the ProMariner 12 work with two 6-volts wired in series? It's basically one big 12-volt, right?

That charger will work fine - it may take a while to charge them back up... but that is personal preference and how many times a week you go out.

Just for clarification.... I posted the info about the prosport 12. The issue is not charging the 2 6v batteries. The issue was I have 2 6v in series and 1 group 24 as a starter. So with the pro 12 you have 1 bank for the 6's and 1 for the 12v group 24. The charger will not be able to adequately keep up and will significantly shorten the life of the charger. I got this info straight from pro mariner. You are supposed to have min of approx 20% of over all amp hours.

Hope this helps.
