Bimini brackets from bakes

Recommended Posts

cstk421

I already sent an email regarding what my situation is. I have the ix tower and got a Bimini from Bakes. I assembled it and went to put on the brackets for the tower and noticed they are sitting really funny. They do not sit flush on the tower and they are positioned in a way that has the sides of them sticking out from the tower towards the cabin. So if you run your hand across the inside of the tower passing the swivel quick release bracket you will get caught on the bottom of it. Seems as f there should be some plastic molding to adapt it to the shape of the tower or they are the incorrect bracket all together. Here is a pic of the bracket. Any ideas ?

Claudio

Looks like the right one to me. Are you sure you're mounting in the correct place?

Im pretty sure. There seems to be only 1 spot for each of them to go. Paul emailed me and said that it was normal. I just don't see how it was acceptable to owners if the bracket sticks out from the tower.

I would like to see if anyone has any up close photos of the mounted bracket so I can confirm if mine is right and is the same.

Thanks,

Claudio
