Looks great.. First time I have seen a BU with a KM/H guage. They still come in Miles per hour in Canada...

Malibu's are only built in three places around the world - California, Tennessee and down under (Australia). Maybe the Aussie boys could ship a metric dash over to the States for Canada- bound Bu's

Beautiful boat! Hope you get plenty of use out of it in the near future!

Thanks!! Heading into our cooler months now so we will try and squeeze in as many sessions as we can this season :yahoo:

Great looking boat, you should be able to put a few hours on it before winter kicks in, we averaged 5 hours a day the first week we had ours.

thought california plant was closed for production?

suprised the market is large enough to have a plant in australia.

boat looks just the same as here...very nice choice.

therollers look superior to the us uffering...saw many rigs with them in the 80's...wonder why they were abandined here?

are most boats that size there?

Congrats on the new boat! The California plant shut down a few years ago now is R&D and headquarters only. Couldn't live w/ a metric dash no more than ya like a our standard...;)

Great looking boat!! As a former Brisbane boy, where will you use it?

Thanks

We prefer the good old Brisbane River - so long and curvy that you can always find a nice flat section of water with no other boats. Only problems are the apparent presence of Bull Sharks ( not that we have seen one) and the brackish water means an engine flush when we get home. That, and it takes almost an hour to drive to :(

The Pine Rive is really close (only 20 minute to get to) but it only has two small stretches of useable water and if there are other boats around or wind it is average. Oh, and we did see a small Bull Shark there ( even so, we still ski there sometime).

Somerset Dam is perfect except that it is 90 minute away, and unless you go during the week on a windless day flat water is hard to find...

We did ski the Somerset Dam and a few other dams (until the water levels got too low) but never the Brisbane River. If your photograph is taken on the Brisbane River, it's colour is rivaling the Yarra!!!

Yeah, it was only a few years ago Somerset Dam dropped to 20%!! The launch ramp stopped halfway down the bank then a dirt track to the water. It is now at 105% and awesome - just so long as there is no wind... The photos are actually of the Pine River and yes, it is very murky water. That said, the Brisbane River is not much better - but we are still hitting it tomorrow!!!! :)
