I hate to say it but a call to Acme or OJ would probably net you better information. They will ask you some specifics and what improvements you are looking to make over your current prop but they will ensure you get what you want.

Then there's your answer(s).

Different shapes on the blades, different cup designs, etc.

If you buy an ACME buy the 13x12 and if you buy an OJ buy their 13x11.5.

Is there a cup difference between Acme and OJ? That could explain why there is a pitch difference between them.

OJ 13 X 11.5 LC 1 1/8" XMP 3-blade

Acme 515-13.00X12.00VL3B 1.125 .080 cup three blade nibral propeller

Which prop should I get and for what reasons? 13x12 or 13x11.5

Malibu puts this standard on their Response LX now.

Acme 525 13.00 11.500 0.080 cup 3 1 1/8" LH

It works great.

What is your primary use for the boat? If you barefoot and are a heavier skier the Acme might give you a touch more topend if needed. If you primarily slalom the OJ will have a touch more grunt for pull out and speed recovery. The difference will be pretty small otherwise.

Search the forum. There are a lot of threads with data and anecdotes. I had to make the same choice last year and decided on the OJ XMP 13x12. The result was better bottom end and less vibration than the stock CVP 13x13.

I honestly think you will be happy with either prop. I went back and forth for several days last year while trying to decide. A case of paralysis by analysis.
