Sampson Vs. Menace Over The Top Arm And Mirror

Recommended Posts

Considering purchasing a Over the Top Arm and Mirror assembly for my 23 LSV with Illusion XS tower. Does anyone have any experience pro or con with either brand? Both are approx the same price, I want to make sure I buy the best quality. Thanks in advance for any help.

Be sure and check out the PTMEdge VR-140 if any way possible. I've not had it on the water, but will be testing the black version soon. My understanding is it will be a factory option soon, it has an amazing field of view!

Looks like a pretty sweet mirror..

I wonder if that VR-140 could be attached to the Samson G3 swoop mirror mount?

I agree that the PTM mirror is VERY nice, but I bought that Cipa Extreme(3-piece) mirror for less than 1/2 of what they're charging for their lower priced ($199) mirror. I would pay 20% more to lose the breaks, but not 100%+. My ski partner like my mirror so much that he bought one for our club boat! Those big mirrors are SWEET !!

I've been told it will work on the Sampson bracket. They also have an bracket that will fit the one or two point stock factory mirror. Price point, IDK, it's not like any not other mirror I ever looked in and I want to see my rider. I should have one next week on the water, so I'll report back then.
