We are so close to ice out here in Southern New Hampshire. The only ice left is in the cove, in front of my house. We are getting our first snow storm of the year tonight and tomorrow. Expecting 6 - 10 inches the back to 40 degrees and rain Saturday. I hope to put the docks in on Sunday :yahoo: This is the earliest ice out i can remember. Where does everyone else stand with the ice?

Our lake never got hard this year. We got a skin of ice here or there, but never even covered the lake. I can't remember a year where there weren't ice fishing huts out there for over a month.

70 something today in Ohio. Normally all lakes freeze over in the winter. None in Ohio did this year, including Lake Erie.

Not even close, the least snow, warmest of all time.

Same here. Our lake is wide open and has been most of the winter. Piers should be going in shortly.

Oh we still have about 12 inches here. You lucky buggers!!!

Haha, ya up in northern sasky we still need an extension on our ice augers just to get through the ice! Hopefully we have a nice spring and get out on the water ASAP!!

Still hopping for skiing in March. upper end of the lake is opening, but my end had a ice fishing tournament today.

We have been having a snow storm at least once a week lately 3 to 7 inches. I have plowed more the last three weeks then all winter. :(

Our lake has melted twice so far this year. It's been almost cold enough we could get a 3rd freeze. But the weatherman says it should be pushing 50 by the weekend so it won't happen. It's been a weird year.

I'm having a bunch of dock repairs done on 3/9. Then hoping to put them in the water by the first of April.

I've been on my lake 20 years and it's now 95% open, earliest ever. Neighbor has been here since 70 and this is the earliest he's ever seen it open, maybe it's the extra day we have this year  Felt summer like yesterday.

50 and rain Friday should finish the rest of the ice off. Very little ice fishing this year.

I'm ready to go. 90% of the ice has been gone for a long time and my lift stays in year round. If I didn't have to left about the night time freeze, I'd drop the boat in now!

Was on the pond Sunday, on ten inches of ice. Still be a while longer, but for sure looks like an early spring.

Got home today to find the lake nearly ice free!! Tomorrow's going to be warm, so I'm hopeful that all the ice will be gone tomorrow.

Time to order a new cap, rotor, plugs, and wires for the tune up!!

And 50mph winds today. There's no way any lake or good sized pond will have a speck of ice left. That's a wrap!
