Motor Seized?

Recommended Posts

Update....

I am new to this forum, was reading this and realized that I am the new owner of this boat!

The engine is at a rebuilders (in pieces) and will be rebuilt, dyno'd and installed in the next couple of weeks. It was completely seized and requires a bore (+0.030) and new pistons (only one make/model available as this engine has a 3.8" stroke and not 3.75"!!) Pistons will be here this week and they will get to work. Heads will be torn-down, shaved, checked and rebuilt. Cam and crank look like they are checking out fine. New bearings being installed all around.

Long story about how I came to own it, but it should be great when complete!

Anything we should be careful of on the rebuild??
