Any suggestions for my 2002 Sunsetter stereo, I am doing a complete overhaul this year and need some suggestions from other bu owners. I am planning to install a second battery as any amps that are needed. Any help would be appreciated.

I just redid my response with Kxm 700.5, kicker marine coaxials, and kicker pxi 50.2. Only thing not kicker is sub. I'm extremely pleased. Don't know what all you're looking to do but pxi was an interesting addition.

Most of the music is being delivered via Ipod or Ipad and the boat has a tower with 2 Kicker KTM60's and they are powered by an amp but they just do not throw sound like the wetsounds do. I am just curious of what amps to buy to power 2 wetsound Pro 485 tower speakers. I am not sure if I am going to upgrade the in-boat speakers because they do fairly well. Thanks guys for the input

A wetsounds syn 4 with two channels bridged to each 485 would probably sound pretty good. The overkill solution would be an arc ks300.2 (or wetsounds syn2) bridged to each one. That'd be 700w +/- to each one tho, so you'd have to be careful with gain tuning and the volume knob.

The amp and tower speakers I have are being sold becuase they are not what I am looking for. I am looking for ideas for a complete rebuild so I need new tower speakers and the amp or amps to power them. I am not really concerned with the in boat speakers because they are good enough for the people in the boat I want to hear the music at 80 feet off the boat clear. I am also wanting to get a new head unit that will handle the system. Thanks guys for the tips.

I did a complete rebuild on mine last year and I used Infinity Reference 612m 6.5-Inch 225-Watt High-Performance 2-Way Marine speakers on the tower ( 4 total) and 2-P3 RF 12" subs. I have a RF 400.4 amp pushing tower and interior speakers and a 500.2 powering the subs, both are the punch series. The deck is a JVC with the I-pod adapter out the back so I don't have the stereo cover open all the time. It sounds great and I didn't have to spend too much$. If i do anything different this yr I may add 2 more tower speakers and upgrade that amp. Make sure you have 2 GOOD batteries because this system will draw a lot of power.

We run. Syn 2 to our 485 and it is LOUD! 2 485s with a syn 2 to each one will be insane and I mean that in a good way. Not sure what your timeline is but the new Rev 410 is supposed to be out in arou d 60 days I believe. (I think I read 60 days on wake world)
