Bimini Instructions?

Recommended Posts

Bartdude

So Im getting ready to put my tower speakers on and decided to remove the Bimini since it was being funky.

It's a 1 point attachment setup with straps. The middle "pole" has slider brackets with set screws. They screws (1is missing) are not seated so that pole slides around.

I also found out why it seemed tight and sometimes would hit the tower when opening/ closing (only used 1x last year). The centers of the poles have an inner coupler shaft and they had pulled out and made the setup about 2" wider than it should. Fixed that!

Question: Should the screws be adjusted and then locked in? Or only set the screw when you put the bimini up?
