This is what I was trying to describe last week, this is how I have done it for 2 yrs, works fine. Small wakeboard on the bottom doesnt matter, but you do need a surfboard on top to lay the thick kneeboard on.

you can also get away with an additional surf or wakeboards on there like this also.

That's the best solution that i've seen. Very creative and minimalistic!! i'm gonna try this before spending $800+ on kneeboard racks for G3. Thanks for the picture.
