Ronix Cortez Vs. Hyperlite Broadcast

Has anyone surfed and compared these before? The fiance wants her own surf board after riding mine all last summer. She hates my Koal, but loves my friend's Broadcast. The Cortez seems similar to me in a lot of ways, but has anybody ridden both that could give me a recommendation for either?

I like Ronix gear and support them for a lot of reasons, but I just want her to get something that she'll enjoy riding.

I would look to the inland surfer squirt!...The larger fins give it better drive than a broadcast. I teach people all the time to surf on a Squirt from children to 250 lbs guys. So it is stable enough to learn on on, Yet more advanced riders can really shred on it!... It is a great boat board to have for all levels!...I gave up on my Broadcast a while ago.
