Jet Ski + Extreme

Debtsetter - what are you towing with?

I ask because a buddy of mine has an older Nissan SUV. He bought a cheap little plow that attaches to the front, via a 2" receiver to keep his driveway clean. I think he got it at Home Depot or something. The receiver is a bolt-on application, not sure how it attaches, haven't crawled under there. But I think the front of your vehicle might be the easiest option. Not sure if this is his, but it's something like this.

07 Escalade, I don't think that would look very good. Maybe if it was removable, depending on how it was attached?

I put a front hitch on our QX56 -- it is bolted to the frame up front.

I don't know if I'd put a jet ski up there, but boy oh boy does it make it easier to get the boat in the storage unit....

I've got a couple 550's and a sxr the 550s are super light and easy to cary with 2 guys. The 800 is almost double the 550. Also pm me if you aren't too far want to grab 1 of the 550's

Looks good.

Just need to remove the swim platform and put it somewhere.

Also, I'd be concerned about departure angle. That rig is hanging waaaaaaaaay behind the trailer wheels. Might need to add some rollers to the bottom of the bike carrier.

in shopping for a new trailer (mine is toast from the corrosion) i wandered to the boatmate web site.

check out the pix of the supra w harley mounted behind the boat (bottom right of page).

might come close to your needs.

That's pretty cool but I just don't get combining a bike and a boat on the same trailer? I've never wished I had my Ninja when I was at the lake. :dontknow:

On the other hand, the design of that trailer with the extended side rails would be perfect for a ski. Thumbup.gif

Seriously? You've never taken a week vacation & brought the boat & wished you had your bike (or whatever other toys) too?

I can think of a dozen places we've vacationed over the years that I could enjoy both a boat & a bike......... Hells Canyon, Havasu, Powell, Dale Hollow, Shasta, Banks Lake, Orlando, etc. etc. I don't think there is a limit on that one.

Maybe the 4-wheeler, but never the bike. My wife won't ride it with me and if it's not raining I wanna be on the water. I don't mind finding mud on the 4-wheeler in the rain though. Thumbup.gif If my wife would ride the bike it would be a handy way to get around. Thumbup.gif

I just think that would make the trailer more of a pain that it's worth since you have to deal with it 100% of the time when you only use it when camping. If you had a slip though.....you don't have to deal with the extra length every time you head to the lake.

Yea, I can see the trailer length being a bit of an issue. For that reason I liked the idea to add the receivers to the trailer, and then build racks for whatever toys you want to bring along. Then the trailer is stock size/length 100% of the time. Then if you are taking a long trip where you might want your additional toys along.... at least it's an option in that case.

I bought a KLR 650 dual sport recently. I can envision quite a few times that it would be fun to have along, by myself or with others.
