Board Carrier

Has anyone tried the Inno INA744 surfboard/sailboard rack for their boards? I am looking for something to carry three wakeboards on top of my car.

I have one and use it for carrying SUP boards. Unless you have something the thickness of a normal surfboard it will not hold it down very well.

If you stacked three boards it might work but then you would have to pull the bindings everytime. Also strapping down boards side by side isn't a good idea either unless you use a strap for each. If you use just one strap across all three side by side they tend to be pushed to the middle and try to stack on top of each other. After this happens they are not held down very well.

Have you thought about trying a soft surfboard rack? I have seen a few people using them on the tow vehicle and then transferring to the top of their tower.
