Chrome Gauge Dash Removal

Recommended Posts

I need to pull the chrome gauge dash panel off of my 2008 VLX (non-maliview) this weekend at the storage area. Thought I would ask how to do it so that I have the right tools with me. Thank you.

Remove these 3 screw with a phillips, and a small 1/4" set of sockets will get all the gauges out the back. Not exactly sure how the chrome seperates from the rest of the bezel but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out once its out.

Ndawg's picture shows all three screws. If memory serves me correctly the top screw is a philips and the bottom two that go through the oval Malibu logo require a star bit. It's been a while and I upgraded or I'd check for you. I used to remove the chrome to polish it on my 08', seemed impossible to not get polish everywhere otherwise.
