Indoor Surf Park

Yeah, this is Florider. They have them on the back of some Royal Caribbean cruise ships. There is also one at Boyne Mountain in northern Michigan. I'm sure they have them at other indoor water parks, too.

If you are talking about a wave pool, though, like the one at Disney (Typhoon Lagoon), I'm not sure if anyone has one built indoors. I've always dreamed that if I won the lotto, I would build one!

There is a place in Elk Grove, CA called Dream Extreme.. I have not been in a couple years but was lots of fun..

Some of from the NorCal crew went to Dream Extreme once. Had a blast.

Unfortunately, Dream Extreme closed down a couple years ago.

"Don't need no stinkin' indoor wave park"

Here in Ohio, there is no snow in november and this year december, also april, so the flowrider is awesome!

Here I am down in florida and I did go on a cruise that had a flowrider and next cruise I am going on the one that has two flowridas.

I actually learned how to surf on the flowrider several years ago when they had a surf club, if anyone thinks it is boring, just start riding switch! anyways, I had no problem surfing behind the boat from the first try, everything transferred from riding the flowrider to wakesurfing (faster-forward, slower-put more weight back) and the balance was already there from the flowrider. So, then I had to buy my 2005 VLX because that boat produces a better surf wake. Damn, I can't wait for SPRING!

That's funny.

I notice you finally noticed the horrible grammar on your "status update" and pulled it down. :Tease3:

yours truly getting worked over on the flow barrel at the wavehouse in San Diego...

Dang Shawn, that wave looks nasty. It looks pretty tough and man does it chew you up and spit you out if you go down. The Flowrider sure looks a bit easier.

Where were you riding....I would figure if I was going to make a man made wave I would try to make the face of the wave a little cleaner. :dontknow:

wait a minute, aren't you suppose to have the board that has the straps on it when you use the barrel? I know the boards they use have threads in them to screw the straps to, that should make it easier.
