Just curious, why the Billlet door over standard door? I ask because I have one and it's heavy and if left open leaves indent in the upholstery. Seems a little heavy and overkill. Nice look tho.

I'll gladly sell you mine if I can get one of the new carbon ones for my boat. :) I'll ask the dealer at the boat show this week.

billb,,, funny you mention that because my neighbor down the road is a fantastic fabricator (builds dune buggies and monster trucks ect..) and he makes his own glove/storage boxes for his stuff and we were discussing him making me a carbon fiber door for mine. He makes them for his rigs. I would like a door that does not indent the upholstery when left down. Not much of a priority so don't know when we will get it done. He has alot of projects on the board for the next few months. Let us know status on availability of the one your looking into.

Agree with the above i would go with some other material, its heavy and will blind you if the sun in the right angle. The coating or chrome plating on mine was also coming off when i got my boat so i ended up painting mine a grey color to match my dash. I'm much happier now, happy hunting!

If you find info on the carbon fiber one pas it along. I may consider selling my billet door to you if I can find alternative that looks good and is lighter.
