Battery Placement

The prices vary everywhere you look, somewhere between $100-150 each. They are interstate u2300 242 ah 6v batts. Don't remember exact dimensions but they are roughly 11"H x 11"L x 8"W. I've got the ProSport 20 on them, little on the small side for two banks this size but I only use 1 bank and the other is a reserve. The smaller battery switch separates the two banks of batteries.

Well I made a ghetto mock up of a srm4d out of cardboard. After moving them all around I think this might be the most space saving location.

What do yall think? I would build a square tubing fram for the 29 to fit into with angle as the mounting area and removable panels to hide them.

I'll have a cover plate to hide everything so it looks nice and hidden.

It fits two srm24's easily on one shelf.

It will start as one srm4d and one srm29 but doubt it will be long till there are two srm 4d's in it.

Only concern is if I should put a blower forcing air into this vent now that I have partially covered it.

It used to have a hose going to the vent in front of the windshield.

Thanks, being a single guy she was my kid.

Went everywhere with me and glad she's not sick anymore but you never realise how much they are part of your life till your daily routine changes because of their absence.

Sorry about your loss!
