New at this I am 5.9 155 to 165lb. My boat is a 06 Vride will be adding a lot of weight 2000+ so wake should be good size. Looking for a good starter board 250$-350$. May even buy one board for friend so looking for a 185-215lb too. Needs to be durable (important). For me I want a board that is a intermediate board. For my friends I am looking for a starter board. I know you get what you pay for so believe me I will spend the money down the road I just want something to learn with. Will take an help I can get. Thanks.

Are you wanting Surf or Skim? Or a Hybrid like a LF 4'10" Good all around Board for $400 I have a CWB Tsunami we keep around for the first timers. My word of advice is figure out what style you like(surf or skim) And spend the extra money and Buy a better Board once!

I'd recommend checking out the Triple X products. My requirements were very similar to yours and I picked up a Nitro Pro X this year after a ton of research. Great board, forgiving enough to teach people but responsive enough for more advanced riders to have some fun.

love mine. I'm 220lbs and can go ropeless even with a small wave. it is fast, but still controllable.

Think I'm going to get me one been looking they look nice. The one thing I was wondering was the weight class. They have a 4.8 and a 5.

Mine is the 5 ft model. I don't think that the smaller one would support my heavy butt. I've run up on the swim deck quite a few times when I wasn't paying attention because it is that fast. Gonna start jumping it this next summer.
