Gauge shorting out??

Recommended Posts

I have had issues with my gauges not working randomly this summer.

Come to find out my tach is some how causing all of my gauges to short out (bus communications) .

I replaced it earlier this summer since I changed my pp system.

Anyone else heard of this or any way to get the gauges repaired?

It may or may not be the gauges. It could be the MMDC or the MDC. Maybe this will help!

This document would have been awesome early this spring.

When I unplug the tach the 4in1 starts working and as soon as I plug the tach back in it stops.

I've tried it over and over and it's always the same. Even tried the spare plug in the dash with the same results.

That is sounds almost like the same problem I had, and bought a new gauge only to find out it was the MDC.

I ordered one from Bakes My link.

Good luck!
