Well,

After a year of fighting electrical issues with our 2011 VTX, our Malibu dealer really stepped up and helped us trade up to a new 2012 VLX. We were going to do an "apples to apples" trade, but he worked up a deal that we could not pass up on the VLX. I know that we will loose the ski wake from the diamond hull VTX, but after taking the VLX out on the water today it seemed to clean up pretty well past 32mph. Any suggestions on the best set up to ski behind the VLX?

Unbolt engine, swing it around and place in middle of boat, then bold back down! I hope your new boat doesn't come with the electrical gremlins!

After reading the pet peeve thread I had to chuckle at this. Just how loose a ski wake do you want? Kidding aside your new boat is sweet.

Glad to hear things finally gotten straightened out. That is a sweet color combo. I'm not sure I have ever seen the deep red. Congrats and enjoy!
