Bake's Marine

that's on my list for this winter to dial in. We did some prototypes by I want to change a few things. I will post something on the crew when I have a running model I can take pictures of.

Excellent Paul! Your LED's are amazing..far superior to Malibu's 55w Halogen. Looking forward to an adaptor for the G3!!

M-Crew,

Thought I would post up a link to spread the word about the updated Bake's Resource Library.

We have been working hard getting together all this information over the past few weeks and since more than a majority of you are do it yourself boaters I thought you could get a lot of value from this page next time your troubleshooting or working on your own boat.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks

Paul

Hey could we get a moderator to place this on the Resources/DIY tab, so it will be easy for all members to find next year and in the future, Paul and the folks a Bakes did a great job, and are supplying us members with a wealth of information for us DIY'ers. Lets buy some products to show our appreciation, I'm going to.

thanks

They do put the halogen lights to shame... The HID and LED technology is amazing how bright it is compared to halogen.

Would love to see some info on trailer maintenance. I only use my trailer twice a year for total of about 30 miles. Put the boat in, take it out and have it winterized at the dealer and put it to bed for the winter.

I'm afraid because of this I neglect my trailer and really don't know what maintenance needs to be done on it.

I agree that is a area I need to work on, Let me see what I can do. I might be able to get some documents from the manufacture of the axles / brakes etc. to help you out.

30 miles twice a year?

Ha!

I think you're all set on your trailer maintenance. Just keep an eye on the tires and whatever method the hubs are lubed.

Yeah, but you've never broken down on I-94 before!

Still, I would just take the back roads, and like Pete said keep your tires fresh (6 years or less) and your hubs greased. Go thru Lawton, thru Mattawan, take 60th Ave. (which turns into Q Ave.) up to Texas Corners, keep going East, Q Ave. turns into Centre, follow that to Portage, turn right and go to the Edge. Not a bad drive, and a lot better than 94.

Easier than that... W ave (84th ave?) through schoolcraft to portage road and I'm there :-)

Edit: Just make sure you bring it down to 25 MPH through schoolcraft... don't ask me how I know
