Skiing Behind my XTI

Recommended Posts

I have recently purchased a 2006 XTI which we love. I am an avid slalom skier as well as a wakeboarder. This boat is perfect for this. There is one problem I have and that is while slalom skiing, my ski line hits my Illusion Tower at shorter rope lengths. Is there anything out there that can move the line back or briddle it up on my tower so I can ski shortline behind my boat?

When you say "ski shortline".....are you talking 32' off or 41' off? also, are you sking the course or free skiing?

I am talking 28' off to 35' off in the slalom course. (It even hits the tower at 15' off) Do you have an answer? I recently found out that in 2008 XTI's came with a center pylon behind the engine that popped up and down that cured this problem. What can I do with my 2006. Oh and I called Malibu and they discontinued making the part for that model.
