Tower Lights

Good day all,

I would love to find some advise on people who have already, or have researched what I am trying to accomplish. I currently have 4 motorcycle headlights on the tower of 2008 Malibu Wakesetter that I feel are too much drain on the 2 batteries while in use or docked.

I would like to find some LED lights that would look nice, still provide great lighting. I have looked at Bakes, but was wondering is there something that is more a fit specifically for the BU (not they those lights wouldn't fit, but just a different look).

As side information, the boat is orange and gray, with a gray XS tower.

Thanks again for any time and input responding to this post.

Check out visionxusa.com. They have 8 or 12 inch led xmitter light bars that are low profile and bright. I put 2 on my tower and love them. They are not round and tacky looking like most.

Any chance you could post some pics of yours?

Maybe a option we use these in trucking industry very durable. A stainless or billet bracket would have to be fabricated but I think could look very nice

Does anyone have any experience with grote lights?

Here is a link to an interactive Beam pattern page where you can try out different patterns

And here is a link to the spot lights for sale (some are 24v, some are 12v)

Just thinking they look brighter than most other options

I installed a set of these this year. Amazing light, would recommend them for sure. One problem I did have is the finish which is black has turned to bronze/ brown.

From the heat?

I spoke to Paul on this. I dont think so, it was a finishing problem. They are covered, if I want to send them back, but not that concerned about it.

That's good. Thumbup.gif How warm do they run? Some of the newer LEDs get toasty, but put out an awesome amount of light!

Great light but they do get a little warm from what I recall.

Holy speakers batman!!!! How many amps do you need to run that? Are those lights forward and rear facing?

The 2 light bars face forward. I did leave room in the middle for a 3rd rear facing but for now I hook up a hd hero camera in that location. The light bars have covers on them. As far as amps, last time I checked there was 4. The majority of power runs the 4 12" subs.
