Base Engine in 2011 23LSV in Utah

I have the opportunity to purchase a 2011 23 Wakesetter with the base 350hp engine. Will this be enough for higher elevation operation? What would be the best prop to run? The boat will mostly be used at elevation of aprox 4800 feet. Will I regret not having the bigger engine?

Surfing, wakeboarding, skiing, hydrofoiling (air chair) and some tubing. Current boat is a 21 foot and getting too small for growing family. Typically 500lb of ballast ( thats all the boat has) It would be unusual to have more than 6 to 8 adults in the new boat....lots of younger kids.

With a 1235 prop, that engine will be fine. Might struggle if you take it up to Flaming Gorge, Echo or East Canyon and expect it to get out of the hole really well.

Good luck with the purchase, and be sure to post a few pics for us.

If you were used to putting extra ballast on top of the stock ballast and wedge, then you might want something else, but only serious wakemonsters would need that.
