Box of Skins arrived from Chee

As many on the board have said, Chee does some amazing work. I was floored by the new material, the stitching. I asked him to change the color scheme a little, and it turned out amazing.

I'm dropping them off to my guy to have the seats re-foamed and the skins installed. I'll update pics when it's all done.

As a reminder, here's how it looks before:

How much do new skins cost?

At some point Is like to replace the skins on our response but we own it with two other couples. The good news about co-ownership is that everything costs 1/3, the bad news is you have to convince everyone else every time you do anything. This hasn't been an issue but I haven't asked anyone to plunk down $1,000 either.

That's cool. One of the guys I work with did that with a ski boat. They called it "One Third". Thumbup.gif

I don't know if Chee wants his pricing floating around. Let's just say he was much cheaper than a local shops, and I now know that Chee's quality is better than what I found locally.

The labor to install them will be about $800, but I'm having the 3 seat bottoms completely re-foamed. Dropping them off this week and I'll have them back in about a month.
