Water under Capt Chair

Recommended Posts

While replacing my seat slides I took the access panel off under the driver seat and found 1/2 inch of water? Anyone see a problem with this? Thanks

Don't know what yr. your boat is but, my 2000 WS VLX has the exact same pedestal for the captains chair and I've had that big, round, plastic access cover off a few times and have never had water in there.

I would guess it's just water that had dripped off your butt after you sit back down to drive after a set. LOL.gif Maybe Pete just towels off better? I never towel dry if the air is warm and my seat base gets a bit wet by the end of the day and requires my drying it off once we get the boat home.

LOL.gif Looks like you could add 50 lbs of lead in there.

That's exactly why I've had that cover off a few times.

I had 2 pop bags in there.
