Exhaust hose water leak

MALI-MONSTER

While winterizing I noticed that I have a very slow water leak in one of my rubber exaust hoses that go from the manifolds to the mufflers. It looks like there is about a 1 inch small tear in the hose. Anybody had this problem and patched it. If so what patch material and adhesive? My first reaction is to just replace both hoses with new, but I tend to always over do things.

replacing the boat would be over doing it. get new hoses

does your rig have mufflers or are you running that exhaust hose all the way to the transom?

if no mufflers this may be an opportunity to add them at a reduced (muffler $$ less replacement hose $$) price if you can cut the hose to the right length(s) and get rid of that tear.
