Front seat pad removal?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2008 Sunscape and want to pull out the front portion of the front seating pads to get access to the light wiring and to add a pop-up cleat.

I cannot tell how to remove this. Are there hidden bolts somewhere or does it pop-out?

Hidden bolts. You'll have to be able to access behind the fiberglass deck behind the seatback. Could be a multi-step process...ie, you may have to remove some panels to get to other panels but if you'rte just trying to get to the center one, you should be able to reach them all by reaching in the cutout. Most of the bolts are at the top.

I am trying to remove the lower pad around the front. When I reach behind, it will flex out some but I don't find any nuts / bolts.

I am afraid to pull to much and break something.

Do I have to remove the top section to get the bottom one loose?

I have removed 4 nuts and one lag screw from the top piece (one side only). That piece is still not coming out. I tried feeling back further, and cannot find anymore bolts. The lower piece has not budged.
