So went out over the weekend, boat runs great but when beaching the boat I hit bottom (soft mud) and the engine shut off. Now this bad intelligent device or comp reading comes up and says service required. Everything looks fine under the boat, the boat ran fine after this happened. Does anyone know what this error means and is there a way to get rid of it like unplugging the ecm?

Maybe the computer is queestioning your intelligence for beaching such a nice boat??? :rofl:

Sorry, couldnt resist. I have never heard of that before but I had to add my 2cents. Maybe try disconnecting the battery to clear codes?
