Mine started to come out by itself and luckily never flew out while towing. I'd like to glue my in but would still like to be able to take it out. Can anyone recommend an adhesive that is sticky but not permanent? Maybe too much to ask. Thanks!!

Too small. I should have measured. I think it is 2-1/8 or 2-1/4" at the top of my tapered hole. I'll measure next time I'm out. If anyone needs one, hit me up.

I need one of these plugs. do you still have a source?  the bakes link is dead.

@kylesullens I 3D printed 5 of them when I was in college 3 years ago. I've lost 1 and I've given 3 to friends so I have none left, i'm kicking around the idea of using my friends' 3D printer to make some more in black. Would you give me a few bucks plus pay for shipping a small envelope if I make some more?

Yep.  I would buy 2 - one for a spare.

Let me know if you proceed.  Thanks!
