I am going to be moving my batteries from the 2 rear lockers to the spotter passenger compartment. The run is about 15 feet of wire can anybody tell me what gauge wire I should be using for that long of a run.

You should be running 0/2 guage. Malibu undersized that run until 07' with 2 awg. You can get away with 0/1 guage since you have a smaller alternator but it's not "that much" more to do the 0/2.
