Need Advice On New Prop

Foatin' Doats!

Bent my prop a bit and tore up my wedge last week. Got an insurance check today (not enough to cover near all of it, but that's my fault for opting for the higher deductible... Anyway, since a lot of it is going to be out of pocket, I'm thinking about waiting until spring to replace the wedge, and using the time over winter to maybe find a deal or a used one (I want to upgrade to the floating wedge). I'm also thinking of using the insurance money to get a new prop, since I need a spare anyway. So I'm looking for suggestions. Here's how I use my boat.

We've mostly wakeboarded in the past, but just started getting into surfing. Still don't know what we are doing but learning is part of the fun right? We found out real quick the 537 is not going to cut it for surfing. I expect we will be wakeboarding/surfing 50/50. It's a 90 second trip to where we usually ride, so I don't care about top end speed. We don't cruise, we don't slalom. We ride until sundown. So I'm looking for something that pulls well on the low end and will help maintain surfing speeds better when weighted. Thinking about the OJ 468, or the 5 blade TZ X5. I think the 475 and the fusion would be fine, but my understanding is that they try to preserve a balance between low end and top end. I think the same is true for the Acme 1235 and the 1273. I was thinking about the Acme 1615 possibly. Thoughts? '06 VLX with 340 Monsoon. Thanks guys, I've really come to appreciate the knowledge and opinions of The Crew!
