Which Tower for a 2000 SSLXI

Hi crew, my first post here... I have a 2000 Sunsetter LXI and looking for tower options. I like the looks of the Skylon swoop but looking for advise here. A concern of mine is that many of the towers have the rear mounting point behind the glass and I don't want that as it will interfere with the barefoot boom. My boom sits on the gunwale right up against the back of the windshield glass. Let me know what you think. THANKS!

Forgot to mention, we would like to be able to get onto and off the boom while at speed... not sure that would work with the Titan II.

Titan 2 is hands down the best tower for that boat IMO. On my boat there enough room between the window and rear tower mount to rest your boom. Depending on how agile you are I don't think it would interfere too much with your swing out.

I've got the Skylon Swoop on my SSLXI. It works great with the barefoot boom.

I like the looks of the Swoop, but it is nowhere near as tight/strong as the Titan. I am just getting into hydrofoiling and would like to think that I can mount an AirChair/SkySki to the tower but think that I am going to get a heck of a lot of flex/movement with the Swoop.

If I had it to do over, I might get a different tower....

@ Lieutenant Dan... A friend has an 04 and has the swoop on his from the factory, he has a skyski rack on it and has no problems. It's mounted port side and it does make the ski right by your head if your jumping onto the barefoot boom for a swing out but its not bad at all.

I have a Series 3 that would look fantastic on your boat.. I think the picture is from a 2005 though..

:plus1: Give the guys at Star One a call. They will hook you up with an awesome looking Standard or Deluxe tower! Rockon.gif They are rock solid and are great looking towers not to mention the fact that they are all stainless steel. Most of the cheap universal towers are aluminum and as BG2085 said - move like crazy!

I had one of the Star One Standard towers on my Skier and it awesome. Thumbup.gif We used it with the boom a lot too.
