2 Thumbs and I got out today for a few sets this morning. Even broke the 100 degree mark - water was warmer than I expected at 44 with the air a balmy but breezy 64. Best of all, the newly installed heater and shower work like a champ.

Anyone else? Jack? Surprised.gif

85 air. 60 water. Had some fun till the mother of all winds kicked up. That's all right. I only put 'er in to get the sta-bil mixed into the engine well.

I would go out for a run, I spent the day plowing the driveway of the cottage with the ATV/plow blade attached.

Was truely awe inspiring scenery!

Nothing like sunrise over the bay... damn it's iced over...

I'm betting his response will be something of the form :biteme:

Jerry, I'm surprised you don't know me better than that by now. Edwin's query was obviously drenched with sincerity and empathy for his fellow skiers. For me to respond in such a manner would be uncouth, particularly when he demonstrates no history of sarcasm.

Edwin, so glad the 100° rule ceased to exist in your universe. Oh, and you can KMA.

GTI2lo, nice pics. Thanks for posting.

I'll have to wait until later in the week to get out.

Once again bad weather here. wanted to get out today, but no chance with the nasty storm that's moved through northern california today.

These stroms are just coming one after another. I don't think we have had a full 24 hr's were it didn't rain in Sac for almost a month. Mad.gif I just hope we get some good snow pack soon, so that the reservoir will be full come mid summer.

We were going to go out yesterday in the drizzle but when we got down to the ramp and saw all the debris :( that made us back out. Cry.gif We could see a log floating just at the surface that was about 18" diameter and 4 to 5 feet long... Shocking.gif ...hitting that would do some damage.

See if you can chase those grey things away before I get to Pasadena tomorrow night. Although a wet field may be the only thing that can slow down Bush.

HOOK'EM HORNS!! Biggrin.gif

I can grant you good weather, but SC will give your Horns a long bus ride home :(

We made it out on New Years Eve to Okeeheelee. It was the first time we had skiied there since we moved to Florida. The water was 74 and the air was 80. It kind of makes the crazy housing prices down here worth while.

Bill,

Edwin and I were nowhere near the riverfront...we headed to the Meramec River. Only other folks we saw were two boats of fishermen/hunters and a group of jet skis. No one was wearing a Santa suit or skiing with their dog.

That would be Kevin Day from Creve Coeur. He does it every year for the publicity/charity. One thing he used to do is put together a disabled skiers day on Creve Coeur lake and teaches people in wheel chairs how to ski (kinda like an airchair without a foil.) I think it was for that.

Bundle him up he'll be fine. Our little guy was on the boat just after 6 weeks last spring.

Nope, those guys show up on the downtown river front every Jan 1. 2 Thumbs kinda has the build of Santa but that's as close as it gets... :)

A group of us made it out on New Year's Day. Water was 47* and air was just above 60*. This was the 2nd year in a row for me, but last year the water was iced over at the north end of the lake, and the air temp was only in the 40's.

You're above the 100 degree rule, you gotta go.
