Rear tower post location on RLX

I am doing some measuring and surveying the situation for the mounting of my my new tower.

How far are your back tower legs from the windshield?

Does this effect the usage of a BI barefoot boom?

Thanks for your help!

Merry Christmas!

Brad,

What year RLX? I know they changed the hull and the deck through the years and that probably makes a difference.

Are you installing a Titan 1, Titan 2 or Skylon tower? That will also make a difference.

I am considering a Skylon for my 96 RLX because the mounts for the Titan sit on top of the deck rails. In my 96 RLX there is a conduit that contains the main electrical wiring that is glassed into the bottom of the deck rails. The conduit creates some problems whey you try to mount the Titan.

My BI Boom has some leeway as far as the angle it sticks out the side so I don't think it would be a problem even if I were to install a Titan Tower. I have the Universal BI Boom with the bend in it so if things got bad I could always point the bend backwards and extend the Bow cable.
