Winter Projects All Worked!

The first trip out was a success and all of the winter projects worked!

I added a set of Stainless Steel tip exhausts. I took photos as I worked, so I will make a short paper with pictures on the steps I took. A pretty easy process, but I did learn a few tricks between the first one and the second one. (I actually had a dream that the first time I accelerated the force pushed the new exhaust tube out of the hull!)

I added the thru hull fitting for my flush pro and then added the internal tubing so I don't have to bring the hose into the boat. Works great - just one small leak at the flush pro fitting but I think a new o-ring washer will fix that.

I had a JL amp installed (thanks David E-M for the advice on the amp!) and the dealer did a clean job with the install. I think I may change how they did some of the speaker wiring, but the sound is very clean and much nicer when cruising about 30 mph. I added two new Exile speakers last fall (in the bow) so the music is better spread around the boat and doesn't blow anyone out.

I will add some photos as soon as I fugure out how.

Now, to enjoy the summer on the water.

That's not a dream...that's a nightmare!

Glad to hear everything is working well.

Now on to a great summer! :yahoo:
