Water Pool in side lockers?

Hey guys,

Wasn't really sure how to search for this topic, so if it's been covered already (im sure it has somewhere), please send me that way.

Anyway, my new to me boat from the rain had water leak in and pool on one side in back of the stock rear ballast drain pump and tank, right on the transom wall. There is a crevice there, that drops down. I assumed there should be a drain into the bilge, but no. I had to vacuum the water out.

What do you guys do with the random water pools back there? Is the drain plugged?

Thanks!

That is only an access port for the swim platform nuts/bolts. That area does not drain to the bilge.

You need to prevent rain from getting in the lockers somehow. Or, get used to vacuuming the water out.

Ok thanks. Not a great place for malibu to put a crevice. Water can pool there from wet stuff too. I'm installing my canopy this week, so that should help, if it doesn't I guess I'll be buying an evolution cover as well.

Thank you for the info though.
