GPS verified. Right at 50mph. At 3,000 rpm about 28-29mph and at 4,500 rpm about 40-41mph. Speedo said 57 on top speed run. About 3/4 tank of gas and one oversized driver. All with stock prop whatever that is.

Very Cool.

Frequent visitors to Lake Billy Chinook have probably seen the kid with the 1988 Bayliner outboard that bolted on a 200 HP Black Max. He claims 55mph , but his isn't GPS verified. One issue is that with the 6 gallon tank he barely makes it from the Crooked River Arm to the Deschutes River arm. The Metolius River arm is completely out of question... :(

Seriously, Thanks for the update. Boat junkies want to know.

Can't be mad at 50mph. All the canadians chiming in the last thread of 59-65mph must have been talking kilometers per hour  .

These boats simply are't designed for top end speed but you have to be impressed with a 24 footer that hits 50. Looks like you can have your cake and eat it to.

yea the boat is huge. 50 is great, if you want speed look into a flightcraft. i only slalom and barefoot so if was a no brainer for me. wakeboarding is horrible on it, but slalom is top 3 boats ive skied on and 67mph top speed isnt bad either.
