Hi I just had the same thing happen to me , I bought a 2005 sunscape 21lsv with all the wakesetter graphics and illusion tower and everything. I know how you feel . I by no means am that good of a wakeboarderto begin with so Im happy either way. Its still a killer boat! , What I wanted to really point out is my buddy has a moomba mobius with ballast and my boat with the wedge down throws out alot nicer wake actually , So im not sweating it at all and you shouldnt either my man

jronofer, you are replying in a thread that's last post was a year and a half ago - May, 2011...

But for anyone that has to know, the model code is the only true answer. The third digit in the hull ID is the model - MB2_

S from 2000 to present is a Wakesetter 23 LSV.

G from 2000 to present is a Sunscape 23 LSV.

This is only revelant in that this is what the factory called it. There are plenty of "fake setters" out there that perform exactly the same, as they were ordered by the dealer with the exact same options as a Wakesetter, but had a diamond hull.
