Piggyback Ballast 2010 Vride

Hey crew,

I am thinking about adding a piggyback ballast system to my 2010 23 Vride that already has the MLS (rear and midship) and the power wedge. I haven't decided between Bakes or Wakemakers yet and as far as I can tell they're both about the same. Anyways, I keep seeing the piggyback systems that come with one bag or no bag. Are these systems for only filling one bag or can I fill two with the supplied fittings, hose, etc. Any thoughts or advice would be a huge help.

Thanks!

I see that now. It looks like wakemakers is a bit more simple in the way of not having to fool with a valve. Would I need multiple hardware kits to fill multiple bags? I wanna make sure I order everything I need at one time instead of piecing it all together as I go.

i heard the wakemakers piggy back fills the bag first then drains into the tank?

also im looking at the piggy back systems as well, is there a way to fill the tank then for the tank overflow to fill the bag?

is it also possible to put a cut off or directional valve in the system so if i decide to take out the sac i can still use the hard tank without my boat filling up with water?

Call Paul or Andrew at Bakes and chat with him. I just had a nice long chat with them about the pros and cons about all the different configurations out there and they got me pointed in the direction that works best for what I want to accomplish.

I'm lookinga at doing this same thing. The Bakes piggyback looks like it integrates another pump while the wakemakers one does not, is that right?
