@Michigan boarder To Mona Lake? I’ve always looked at that inlet and thought it would be sketchy as all even in 1-2 footers.

Noo!  From that spot in the pic on Bear Lake to Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan.  But....they just redid the Mona Lake channel, and it looks really nice.  Never tried it though because I'd have to leave Muskegon Lake, travel south along the Lake Mi shore, then cut in at the Mona Lake channel.  There have been some flat water days, but not ones where I had the time/desire to do that.  Good thought though!

Oh I gotcha. I just assumed the bridge between bear and Muskegon was tall enough. Was confused by what you meant lol. I hope the made the piers longer for Mona Lake. To basically be on the beach at the mouth of the channel seams dangerous. I guess that is a pretty long ride too. We’ve done portage to Manistee and it’s a ride. Kinda nerve wrecking. Typically in the evening after a clam day and another forecasted calm day.

It used to be tall enough, I think there was 2' above my tower, now my tower is 1' too tall.  I don't think they made the Mona Lake piers longer, but basically rebuilt them.  I know a few people that are like "yeah, no way I'm risking that".

Portage, Indiana to Manistee, Michigan?!?

This reminds me of the stickers you see of Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes) peeing on something.  You should put a Nautique logo down on the water to complete it.
