Great day day on the water today!!

I posted earlier in the summer, but my daughter's a superior photographer. And we finally got some sunshine in Seattle.

This is us at the marina after a long day on the lake.  I'm on the left in the tan and green.  My kids are very envious of the late model 23 LSV parked next to us.  Fancy electronics, sparkly paint, plush interior.

I always have to remind them (and myself), when they see a boat that is much fancier than ours, that the most important feature that the newer boat has that ours doesn't: an $800 payment.

 

It is a pretty boat, though.

Just a cruise last night, and a quick pit stop.  I turned around and saw my wife in a pose and laughed "Why are you doing yoga?"  to which she replied "Why are you taking pictures of your boat?".  Fair enough.

I never really had a good picture on the water until now... while we were at the res for two weeks, my son in law took his phone into the water (braver than me) to get some of these.   Think it turned out ok... wish I had the boat detailed a little better tho.     I’m also kinda partial to the sunrise and sunset pics from the same trip...

Photos on the water, especially in wavy water, are really challenging!

Our boats have a similar color scheme, if you are really a “wet sider” would be fun to have photos of them next to each other on the water!

Whoa - that's wild! Really similar. We split time between Lake Union/Washington and the Crescent Bar area. Would be fun to grab pics of the "fraternal twins" some time. And it looks like we both pull 'em around with Rams.
