Starboard rail came loose at bow

So I noticed after trailering the boat back after winter that the rail on the starboard side of my bow has come completely loose (looks like the nut completely fell off because i can lift the rail a good 1/2 inch and see the thread underneath it. I have no idea how to actually get behind the gunnel (correct term?) up in the bow to re-attach the nut.. Does anyone know how?

Looks like someone went in through the flip up bow light?? I guess I don't have the boat in front of me but I'd be surprised if I could actually fit a ratchet (let alone my hand) through that hole:

This is news to me but I guess the side cushions can be removed as well. I guess I know what someone else tried.. Any other suggestions?

You should be able to reach up behind the side cushions to reach that area, depending on how long your arms are and how patient you are.

You were right, it was way easier than i thought it would be. Since it was so loose I had a buddy lift up on the rail and i squeezed a little loctite onto the bolt thread before retightening back up. Shouldn't be a problem again for a long time ;)
