5” multi guage, are they backwards compatible?

Hey crew,

Pretty simple question, are slightly newer 5" multi guages plug and play with the older boats?(98 sunsetter) I'm having layout issues with my redesign and a single guage would solve all my problems

Not without changing the MDC as well, and by doing that you'll run into problems with data input to the MDC. Better to stick with what you have.
