Flo-cam wire on tower

That's the way they all are. I don't like the way it is installed at all. It would be nice if it was inside the cross member. I do know that some people had drilled into the tower and ran it inside. If you do this the tower will be void of any warranty. It sure would look better though.

Just got my New 2011 lsv. Why is the wire for the flo-cam on the outside of the tower and not in the tower ??

Thank SAl

At what point does it go past the fiberglass for the boat? Do you have an pictures?

How are you supposed to tie the rope to the tower? Do you have to do a full loop?

It actually goes on the inside between the fiberglass and the vinyl side panel. Then the actual camera mount lifts up and off of the tow point and the rope is put on. Then you put the camera mount back on the the tow point. In my opinion they could have done the entire setup much cleaner. I am sure that they have some reasoning as to why this set up? :dontknow:
