Finally I have the BU in her new home. It feels so good to have her home. Now time to tear her down for some projects this month.

Your garage looks great.

What size is it?

How tall are the walls inside?

Is the ceiling open or did you put a flat ceiling in?

Are you going to put up any walls inside or leave studs exposed?

Hope you don't mind all the questions but, am thinking of building a garage like yours.

Thanks!!!!!!

Thanks guys. This has been a long time coming. After getting some prices, I decided to do it (saved me about 10K) Here is a run down of the Bu cave.

24 x 32 (all I had room for because of ceptic lines)

12 foot walls and 10 x 11 doors

Roof pitch is 8/12

The ceiling is flat (I am flooring the upstairs for whatever)

I am going to finish the inside this fall. (it's too close to Bu season now)

looks great. we are currently adding a garage onto our lakehouse to store the boat in the winter. not nearly as large as yours but should work nicely. ours is 23 x 26 with 10 foot ceilings and an 8 foot door.

Saawweeetttt garage. Looks awesome. I wish I had those doors. My ceiling is plenty high, but the doors are 4 inches too short. Frustrated.gif I dream of backing the boat in without having to fold down the tower. Lazy.gif

Nice garage!

Have a 24 x 24 on my property in Wisconsin. Can get the boat in without the platform and close the door by about an inch but it fits!

Problem is the Bu is 6 hours away!

Enjoy!

Just keep in mind, while lowering the tower/taking the platform off isn't our ideal situation it's far from having it sit outside or in a storage unit....or at least that's what I tell myself...

Sweet looking garage!

I dream of the day I can back the boat into the garage without having to lower the tower, remove the tow ball, lower tire pressure, put tires on 4 wheel dollies, remove one guide post, and take swim platform off.

Sounds better than paying $55 a month for indoor storage that is not heated.
