Another 2011 VLX Delivery!

Went down and picked up the VLX this morning, could not be happier. They did a beautiful job on the boat, it has exceeded my expectations! Goes into the stereo shop on Tuesday for some wetsounds goodies and tinted windows! Put a few upgrades on her, shower, 3 vent heater, heated drivers seat, LED underwater lights, 350 HP CAT ETX, G3 mirror, Quad ballast, etc.... Today was a great day!

Hey, thanks everyone.... I am really pleased with how it turned out! Malibu did a great job.... I went over it yesterday and could not find one flaw. I will post up some more pics when the stereo and window tinting are done. Can hardly wait to get out on the water and start breaking the motor in. My youngest son already called first tow, the kids a wakeboarding machine!

Awesome boat.... Mine should be here in a couple weeks. I can't wait. Did you order the boat with the heater and led lights? Or did the dealer install them? Just wondering because I asked my dealer how much it would be to install on mine when it lands and the price seemed REALLY high. Like over $800 a piece. For that much I'll find the time to do it myself.

How was the actual delivery date to the expected delivery date when you ordred it? I have one on order and the delivery is set for the end of April, but I have heard from a few people that Malibu is a few weeks behind on builds.

About 8 weeks from the order date, once you get a spray date it takes about a week to build the boat, and another week to water test and get shipped out. I have heard they are running at a high capacity right now, but they were spot on from what my sales rep told me.

Yes, it has the underwater LEDs and 3 vent heater. My dealer has been awesome to work with, I got all my upgrades at cost... $800 is much higher than what I payed for the LEDs and heater system, I would shop around. I do know the factory ties the LEDs into the Malibu Touch, I am sure anyone who wires the lights could do this as well.

WOW what a machine you got there congrats to you. I only got mine last year and we love ours so much. Love the colors on it as well. I wish I would have custom made ours but we bought one from the dealer as I didn't want to wait for it as we bought it right when the season was right so didn't want to wait the 8 weeks. Wish I did now but we still love ours. Can't beat the wake it makes for wakesurfing!
