Here you go. I believe it is actually on ispec now if you design a new boat. The boys at Wizard Lake have sold quite a few boats with the supercharged engine. I am not sure why they are so popular up here? :dontknow:

Sweet..makes me want to go for a VLX next time! I will drop off your flaps on Sat at Wizard.

Totally. Titan is the way to go on that boat.

I heard that Titan was no longer in business. :dontknow:

Any idea as I'm looking for a new tower now?

Thanks

It is the LSA out of the CTS-V. It would be a blast to drive. I love the sound of that engine.

Yes. Also basically detuned version of motor in corvette zr1

Sounds like alot of overcompensating going on up there... I'm just saying? :)

What red blooded American male would ever turn down more hp if he could afford it? Not overcompensating, just instinctual...

We take delivery of our new LSV 23 with the Caddy motor in about 2 weeks. I will break it in for a day or 2 and then let you all know what kind of top speed we get.

Should we all take guess's as to what she'll do? Either way, break her in easy, or whatever they recommend, ha. Hopefully you can take some pic's or video too !

Oh, my guess is 51.5

I heard today that the dealer is Saskatoon Saskatchewan had his 24 LSV up to 59 mph with a high speed prop. Not too bad for a surf boat.

wow, that brings back memories of burying the speedo in my mom's oldsmobile Custom Crusier with the 455 ( no offense intended )

I agree, just stirring the pot and taking a jab at our friends to the north.... :) I was wondering how long it would take to get a reply.

So why have we not seen any numbers on here yet. the take delivery dates have come and gone.. Still breaking them in?

Yup, forgot all about the break in period.... I've been on the lake 3 times this year and only put on about 3-4 hours so i see where that could take awhile. My guess is 50, taking into consideration a 1235 prop which i think the new 247's come with... Enjoy! I may be on LKN sunday also.. If you see an all black LSV with blue stripes, run me down.. With that engine it should be a piece of cake!

Im pretty sure you could get a barefoot edition Skier back in the day with a 454...

my father has a 85 barefoot skiier, 454 big block, 350hp, 400ftlbs, goes 53mph or so, beats my flightcraft to 30mph by a boat length,

I'd certainly like to know if others get significantly more top end. Never know, maybe there's an issue with mine but I'm very happy with it's grunt and acceleration. 40 mph is about the fastest I'd typically go anyway and it's a very comfortable cruise at that speed.

My neighbor's supercharger on his mustang only kicks in when he drops the hammer and it gets decent fuel economy when he is not driving stupid. How does it work on the boat? Is gas consumption reasonable at cruise? Does the supercharger kick in at a certain RPM? At WOT I bet that thing drinks gas like its coming out of a beer bong.
